Static IP address PS3 (wired LAN connection)

Static address is a guide to setting the IP address of the PS3

Describes a static IP address. Is like a guide for users who are connected to the Internet in a wired LAN cable PS3

Open the menu Settings>>Network Settings

Open the Internet Connection Setteingu

All right, but will be displayed when you disconnect from the Internet. Please select the OK

Move to the right select Custom

Moves to the right select the Wired Connection

"Select the operation mode of the network device.In most cases,select Auto-Detect."Here will be moved to the right select the Manual Settings.

"Speed and Duplex"Does not change. Moves to the right or the Auto Detect

IP address setting is moved to the right select the manual

To make a static IP address, change the following three items of information on this screen.

  1. IP address
  2. default router
  3. primary DNS

Please look at the different sample router manufacturer.

  1. Linksys
  2. D-link
  3. buffalo
  4. Motorola

Linksys

Is a static IP address of Linksys router sample guide

  1. IP address 192.168.1.50
  2. default router 192.168.1.1
  3. primary DNS 192.168.1.1

D-Link

Is a static IP address of D-Link router sample guide

  1. IP address 192.168.0.50
  2. default router 192.168.0.1
  3. primary DNS 192.168.0.1

buffalo

Is a static IP address of buffalo router sample guide

  1. IP address 192.168.11.50
  2. default router 192.168.11.1
  3. primary DNS 192.168.11.1

Motorola

Is a static IP address of buffalo router sample guide

  1. IP address 192.168.100.50
  2. default router 192.168.100.1
  3. primary DNS 192.168.100.1

DNS error will not lead to the Internet when operating in bridge mode, when you input the IP address of the sample note, broadband routers available

Once you have input for the static IP address. Moves to the right

MTU is AUTO

Does not use the proxy server. Move to the right

UPnP is enabled. Moves to the right

This setting is completed. Please save by pressing the circle button on the controller.
